So I left Harhoura in a hurry because of the clash I had with two of the persons at that
Warmshowers 🖱️
hostingadress.
I always have at least 1 trip in advance prepared in my gps and that was now my save.
Because of that I just could pack and leave which would have been a hassle if the gps had not been pre-prepared.
At a roundabout there was a very strange "monument" consisting of a dead tree with several dolphins around it.
I could not discover and not imagine what this was supposed to be.
Although that tree was ment to be a lighting installation for the roundabout.
Maybe this was a very special project of some politician 😉.
But a family of storks is always nice to see.
I was heading for Mohammedia which is close to Casablanca with it's 3.400.000 inhabitants.
There is a camping over there located closely to the beach where I had planned to stay.
That would then be my first official camping in Morocco (after 586 kms) !
But the track over there would probably not be a nice one since already here there was a lot more traffic.
And a lot less nature no nature.
Then I saw this sign which is about new (holiday) appartments for sale for Dh 7000 per m2.
So these are ranging from Dh 350.000 up to Dh 770.000 each which is € 35.000 to € 77.000.
But the winner of today is "The Fruit" yeah yeah 👏.
This fruitstand was exceptionally well prepared.
And it made my day anyway since I had left without having anything to eat.
In the ramadan time ...
I bought a big bundle of grapes, ate half of it, stored the rest and cycled on.
However there is a problem.
The men and boy that work here do a very nice job.
Nevertheless do they obviously have to "live" in the small forest behind there fruitstand.
I saw some "tents" there and a man coming out.
They have to guard there "shop" 24/7 since it has no "door".
Do they have a regular house somewere anyway ?
How to make a decent living here ?
I have No Idea ...
It was indeed a boring and noisy day.
The best I saw today were the storks and the fruit.
All the pictures you see here above this text were taken at the same spot.
And that was all there was to see today in all the 47 kms I cycled.
So now you know why this is such a short blog 💤.
Casablance here I come, although not already tomorrow 😀.
